Pour 1 tbsp. of your normal shampoo into a bowl. Crush two aspirin tablets with a mortar and pestle, then add the crushed aspirin to your shampoo. Stir the two ingredients until mixed well.
Drop six aspirin tablets into another bowl filled with a cup of warm water. Allow the aspirin tablets to dissolve in the warm water, stirring occasionally to blend. Set the aspirin-and-water mixture aside for use after you shampoo.
Shampoo your hair with the aspirin-and-shampoo mixture. Pay particular attention to areas that seem itchy or irritated by dandruff. Allow the aspirin shampoo to sit on your scalp and hair for a few minutes to soothe and relieve dandruff.
Rinse the shampoo from your hair using warm water. Allow the water to run through your hair and over your scalp for a few minutes more than normal to remove all the aspirin and shampoo.
